A pleasant, undemanding climb, rewarded by exceptional views towards the Aneto and Maladeta massif, as well as all the slopes of the Val d’Aran. Thanks to its strategic position at the centre of the valley, Montcorbison has no rivals as a viewpoint over the territory.
This is not a difficult walk, and makes the perfect mountain summit for beginners. or for families with children who already have some experience in the mountains.
The route leads up an imposing grass-covered buttress, among meadows, flowers and some pines, as far as the summit. The route can be extended to the Tuc de Letassi (2177 m).
A highly recommended route, which can be completed in a morning.
